Make the most of your time! Private lessons are a great way to get specialized attention for you and your crew.

ALL Snow Valley Ski Club Ski and Snowboard instructors are nationally certified by either the Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance or the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors.

This season, you may have up to 5 people per private lesson as long as they are aged 7 and over. If the participants are ages 4 to 6 years, then there can only be up to 3 participants*. Each participant will need a valid lift ticket. Lift tickets and rentals purchased with the lesson are valid for the duration of the lesson only.
PLEASE NOTE: Lesson bundles are no longer available.

For the best experience, groups should be of similar age and ability.

*This applies to all multi person private lessons booked after November 4, 2020

Safety & COVID-19 Information

During private lessons, participants may come within 2m of the instructor and/or other participants. Though we will practice physical distancing, there may be occasional physical contact between the instructor and participants (for instance, to help someone stand on the snow, etc.) Chairlifts will be shared between lesson participants. Because of this, we INSIST that all participants wear appropriate face coverings during the entire lesson.

All face coverings must completely cover the nose, mouth, and chin, and must not have open holes where breath can escape easily. Though we acknowledge that this may be inconvenient or uncomfortable, the safety of our guests and staff is of utmost importance. Failure to comply will result in removal from the lesson without refund or credit.

Helmets are required for all lesson participants.

If you are not comfortable with the above lesson format, please contact us so we can work with you to adapt the lesson to suit your comfort level. For instance, adult participants can help lift children when they fall, etc.

Please stay home if you are sick, if you are showing any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been advised to self-isolate.

Lesson Cancellations

All lessons are non-refundable.

If you cannot attend a booked private lesson, please give us 24h notice and we will issue a credit for the value of the missed lesson. No-shows will not be refunded or credited.

If Snow Valley cancels the lesson due to weather or closure, the lesson will be rescheduled later in the season.

If you have any further questions regarding credits and cancellations, please contact our guest services team.
